Here at the Seadown Shooting Complex, we have fantastic shooting range facilities and plenty of enthusiastic members. Whether you are new to the sport and looking to join in or an old hand looking to sight your rifle in or compete in our events, you will find the details you need here on our website
Our aim to promote safe and enjoyable shooting for members of all ages and skill levels. We cater for most types of recreational shooting practiced in New Zealand be it rifle, shotgun, or pistol.

Facilities
Pistol complex
Generally shooters “specialise” in one of the broad types of pistol shooting. You don’t have to specialise, but we are unashamedly a competitive club, and this leads most to take up one kind of shooting at a time.
Open every Saturday 1:30pm to 4pm
Rifle Shooting
The 100m rifle range is supervised by qualified range officers who also offer both coaching and advise should it be required. The rifle range has an open day the first Sunday of every month between 11.00am and 3.00pm.
Sporting Clays Club
Supervised by our qualified range officers. Open by appointment. Cooperate days are also available with all equipment required available subject to terms and conditions.
